At The Ring of Democracy, we believe that every resident of the United States of America should play a part to keep our nation great. We cannot and must not neglect our civic duties. We believe that education and knowledge of the political process and our responsibilities as a people are essential.
LIST OF ISSUES
VOTER TURNOUT
Every election cycle, a large portion of the registered voters do not vote. Another percentage of the population eligible to vote is not registered. We cannot and must not abstain from our civic duty. It is our right to vote to ensure that the right person represents your interests. If no one running peaks your interest, what can you do differently?
HEALTHCARE
Healthcare policies have been a sensitive topic in our nation for quite some time, but we need to be well informed as to what our rights are. Do current policies protect or hurt me?
EDUCATION
Our education system is a source of constant conflict among citizens and politicians of this wonderful nation. How can the education system be improved and provide the necessary tools to our children to be able to lead us tomorrow?
HOUSING
The price of everything has been going up, but the constant increases in the housing market - whether you rent or own- has been making it difficult for a lot of families. Our middle class is nearly non-existent as inflation has ensured that our wages are being used up by housing. How many more people will lose their homes before we realize that we have a crisis at hand?
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Every quarter we go out in the community to help the homeless population. The homelessness crisis has been getting worse every year and we will not forget an important concept we want to instill within our communities: more compassion.
